Dear Barbra,

It was absolutely amazing to take your class and visit with you. I enjoyed it so much!

Unfortunately, I won't make it back up to Sonoma. We have lots to do here and not enough time.

I wish we were closer to Yoga Community here. But, alas, I will have to wait to take your workshop in Missoula. It sounds like that might be the Saturday after the Missoula Marathon. I'll be ready for a great yoga class.

Take care, I'm looking forward to seeing you in Missoula. Let me know if you need a ride from the airport, or whatever.

Best,

Patricia

Hi Barbra!

Max and I are in Martinez visiting my brother.

I'm thinking of making the drive to Sonoma to take one of your classes. Does that sound like a good idea to you? Which class do you recommend?

I'd love to see you and get a great class in. [I've downloaded some yoga sessions onto my Ipod, and that is working beautifully, but it would be fun to see where you are teaching.]

Thanks!

Profile Information

About me or my organization:
Yoga teacher--Influences:
Para Yoga/Rod Stryker and Erich Schiffmann; my previous work as a museum curator, writer (art reviews, animal shelter publicity, literary non-fiction); movies, the senses.
My intentions for a class:
Experiental. The feeling-tone that one may step into the class, onto the mat, and in 90 minutes time, have an experience, much in the way one has the experience of going for a massage, or going to the symphony--a yoga practice as temporial.
That perhaps, like going to say, a wonderful Shakespearean play, we may lose a sense of time--experiencing timelessness.
Why do you practice yoga?
That *I* may experience the above?
That I may then share that as I teach.
Where's home?
Sonoma CA, and a hunk of my heart in Missoula, Montana
